digestive health series
Both ancient healing practices and modern holistic medicine place an utmost importance on nutrition and healthy digestion. Is it any surprise? After all, food, once digested and assimilated, becomes the building block of our bodies, turning into our cells, tissues and organs.
Ayurveda, the 5,000 year – old healing tradition from India, is no exception. For millennia, Ayurvidic physicians used food as a medicine to prevent and treat illnesses, to nourish, balance and rejuvenate bodies and minds of their patients. But unlike any other well – being system, Ayurveda recognizes that you and I are not alike. We have different bodies, different needs, different life experiences. Chances are, our digestive systems are different, too. Is it too far fetched to think that our dietary requirements might also be different? Is it so difficult to believe that the healthy diet we hear so much about is not the same for you and me?
Following Ayurveda’s ancient practices of healthy nutrition, Satori yoga offers Digestive Health Series to help you navigate your way through the “ healthy diet dilemma” and choose the diet that is right for you.
Teach your digestion to work with effortless ease. Reduce inflammation. Improve elimination. See the mental fog finally lift.

For many of us, our thoughts of cleansing and detoxification are just as sure sign of spring as longer days and melting snow. Spring is nature’s New Year, the time of rebirth and transformation. For generations many wisdom traditions of the world practiced body cleansing in the spring as part of celebrating this season of renewal. Our desire to lose weight, cleanse and detoxify in spring responds to the ancient intelligence code that has been written into our genes by our ancestors.
We flock to health food stores across the nation in search of the next miracle product, a silver bullet that will, with as little time and effort as possible, free us from built up toxicity. These formulations have new and more potent ingredients every year along with extensive write-ups that guarantee their efficiency. They are, arguably, the easiest solution to the perennial query of spring cleansing.
Still the questions remain: is it safe enough? Effective enough? Will I get sick? How do I know it’s working? At some point we started to judge the effectiveness of our detox program by its sticker price and how awful it makes us feel.
Could there be a different way?
Snow falls in winter, and just as easily melts with the warmth of spring. Leaves grow effortlessly in spring, only to turn yellow and fall to the ground in autumn. Nature functions with effortless ease, and the same laws govern the snowfall, growing grass and return of the birds in the early spring, are also at work within our bodies, governing the natural processes of digestion, assimilation and purification.
Ayurveda recognizes these laws of nature and harnesses the immense potential they hold through a simple, elegant and outstandingly effective detoxification program.
Pancha Karma, Ayurvedic rejuvenation practice is the only protocol that approaches cleansing and purification from a body – mind perspective. It reaches deep to eliminate not only the burden of pollutants, but also the signs of emotional toxicity – fatigue, irritability, depression, and cynicism.
Once reserved exclusively for royalty, Pancha Karma is the Cadillac of rejuvenation. Digestive Health and Spring Detox Clinic uses the systematic approach of Ayurveda and Pancha Karma to ease your digestion and tailor the seasonal cleanse protocol to meet your needs. Gentle, yet incredibly powerful detoxification techniques ensure not just purification, but complete renewal of body, mind and soul.
