Therapeutic Yoga for Hips and Shoulders
Therapeutic Yoga for Hips and Shoulders are a three-level class series that are taught in a small group setting:
Level one: Unwind the Tension
We live in such a fast-paced world. As we introduce more and more stimuli into our lives, our bodies loose the ability to digest and process information efficiently. Thus the process of winding begins, manifesting itself as knots of physical tension, mental fogginess or irritability and chronic disease.
In Level one of the series we will focus on unwinding old holding patterns & creating pain-free movement through hips and shoulders.
Level two: Stability and Strength.
Building on level one of the series, we will explore the structure of our inner core – strong, deep muscles of our torso to improve stability, coordination and balance.
Level three: Grace and Ease – Movement Integration.
Play with the building blocks of yoga postures – forward and back bends, twists and standing postures by weaving the principles of level one and two of the series into the asana practice.
Fall session:
Session One: September 6th to October 30th( no classes 17th to 24th of October)

Tuesdays: 5:45 – 7 PM or 7:30 – 8:45 PM
