Primordial Sound Meditation is a healing practice that allows us to experience inner calm and deep relaxation. For thousands of years, people have used meditation to move beyond the mind’s busy activity and emotional turbulence into profound peace and expanded awareness.

Rooted in the Vedic tradition of India, Primordial Sound Meditation is an ancient practice of sound meditation that has been revived by the Chopra center co-founders, Deepak Chopra, MD and David Simon MD.It’s a natural technique that is easy for anyone to learn and offers many profound benefits.

Primordial Sound Meditation workshops are offered one weekend a month. Please check our events schedule for more information on dates. Friday evening class from 6 to 9 PM includes introductory lecture on basics and history of meditation, traditional personal instruction and a group meditation.

Saturday morning session starts off with Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga class at 10 AM, followed by group meditation and a lecture on practical aspects of meditation. The afternoon class explores Seven Higher States of consciousness through lecture and a group discussion, as well as question and answer period. We close the workshop with 30 minute group meditation.
